August 21st to 28th 2027 | 8 Days, 7 Nights
Come aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin for a voyage you won't soon forget. This 7 night cruise takes you through the South Pacific with French Polynesia's destination expert as your guide, to the same islands that inspired author James A. Michener, painter Paul Gauguin, and countless travelers since. Where will you find your inspiration? The vanilla scented air of Taha'a? The rugged beauty of Moorea? Or maybe just the sunset from your own balcony, painting the sky over the water.
The largest of French Polynesia's 118 islands, Tahiti and its capital city of Papeete are the perfect place to begin your South Pacific trip. You'll find the Gauguin docked in the harbor, a lively market across the street, and roulottes (food trucks) filling the nearby square each evening with local food.
Don’t be fooled by the vibe of this laid-back, secluded island. Many treasures are hidden among the lush rainforest and dramatic terrain. With a bit of exploration, you’ll uncover some of the best-preserved archeological sites in French Polynesia. Underwater treasures are waiting too, with a snorkel excursion in the lagoon.
Explore lush peaks, wander white sand beaches, and take in the iconic views of Mount Otemanu. Take the plunge with a scuba excursion to see the island's colorful coral reefs, enjoy a sunset jetboat ride, or spend a lazy afternoon on our private beach. Like a Paul Gauguin painting come to life, storied Bora Bora is colorful and unforgettable. The landscape alone will leave you searching for the right words, and once you see the lagoon, you'll understand why "turquoise" isn't quite enough.

Step into a vibrant, colorful world in beautiful Moorea, where azure lagoons, impossibly fresh tropical fruit, stunning mountain peaks and palm fringed beaches welcome you. Get out on the water with an optional dolphin watching excursion led by an expert marine biologist. Afterward, spend some time getting to know the locals while shopping for handmade crafts in the local village.
