Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions image

Is this cruise ONLY Ladies?
While our group that we are inviting to join us will be all ladies,, the ship will be a mix of couples and ladies.

Will I get "sea sick"?
For those new to River Cruising, we get this a lot! For most people, the answer is no. River cruises are very different from ocean cruises. The ship travels on calm inland waterways rather than open seas, so there are no large waves or swells. Most guests are pleasantly surprised by how smooth and stable the experience is—many don't even realize the ship is moving. On rare occasions, you may feel a slight vibration from the engines or gentle movement when the ship is docking or passing another vessel, but it's nothing like the motion of an ocean cruise.

Are there excursions off the ship?
Yes! What we love about this River Cruise brand is that they have optional excursion packages that you can choose. You are not tied to doing the same excursions that the group is doing. Some excursion packages lean toward light excursions, some to more active and some are for the "go, go, go-ers" who want to do it all.

What is the deposit and payment schedule?
Deposit is 10% of the cabin rate, per person
Final payment due date is November 23, 2026

Do I have to come with someone?
Not at all! There are solo rates for our ladies in the group that want their own room and space.

What is the weather like that time of year?Late March into early April is actually one of the best times to visit Amsterdam. Late March and early April are considered one of the best times to experience spring in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Typical temperatures are:

  • Highs: 50–58°F (10–14°C)

  • Lows: 38–44°F (3–7°C)

Expect cool spring weather with blooming flowers, occasional rain showers, and crisp mornings. Layering is recommended.

Will the Tulips be blooming?
Yes! Our dates were intentionally selected to coincide with tulip season. While Mother Nature always has the final say, late March through early April is typically an excellent time to experience colorful tulip fields, daffodils, hyacinths, and the famous Keukenhof Gardens.

Is there Wifi on board?
Yes, and it offered at no additional charge to each guest.

I sleep with a CPAP and need distilled water, can I get it on board?
Yes, this is a common request and the ship will have distilled water.
