Why south Africa?

Why south Africa? image

For the last few years, South Africa has seen an increase in the North American tourism market.

  • The South African Rand to the USD has been strong, ranging from 19-16 ZAR to 1 USD.

  • South Africa has a bustling waterfront city, Cape Town. With beaches just minutes from the city, world-famous winelands within 1.5 hours, and game driving within a few hours' flight, there’s much to explore!

  • There are 12 official languages in South Africa. The most well-known are English, Afrikaans, and Zulu.
Afrikaans is a West Germanic language that developed in Southern Africa from 17th-century Dutch, with 90–95% of its vocabulary originating from Dutch.

I have been in the exciting world of Travel for 5 years now. My journey began in sunny Florida, but I soon ventured to the bustling city of Boston and eventually made my way to the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area. I have also lived in Mexico City and France. Throughout my life, I have embraced the thrill of exploring new places, starting with the wonderful experiences my parents provided me by owning a sailboat. We spent countless summers sailing to the beautiful Bahamas, creating unforgettable memories there. My first true Travel love blossomed in the romantic city of Paris 26 years ago, followed by the enchanting landscapes of Thailand 20 years ago. More recently, I have fallen head over heels for the breathtaking beauty of South Africa. I absolutely ADORE this region! My passion for South Africa is so profound that I made the decision to host trips, inviting my clients to join me on these adventures! We will have professional guides and drivers to ensure a seamless experience, but I am the real host, dedicated to making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. I understand that South Africa is often on many people's bucket lists, and knowing that you are joining a trusted Travel Designer like me truly puts people at ease, allowing them to fully enjoy the journey ahead.
